Photo: Formal George H.W. Bush Goes Skydiving To Celebrate 90th Birthday

A cake and ice cream party is just SO boring. Former US President George H.W. Bush turned 90 years old on June 12 — and the former 41st President went skydiving out of a helicopter near his summer home in Kennebunkport, Maine, to celebrate the big occasion.


Even though he’s battled various illnesses including a form a Parkinson’s disease and severe bronchitis (which kept him in the hospital for about seven weeks), the former Commander in Chief made the most of his 90th birthday by making a tandem jump this morning with Mike Elliott, a retired member of the Army’s parachute team
